Twice-weekly flights, with Cape Town option, confirmed for2024-2025 peak season

St Helena Scenery

Direct flights between Cape Town and St Helena will resume this year, from December 2024 until March 2025.

These flights will supplement the existing weekly flights between St Helena and Johannesburg.

During this period, flights operated by Airlink will run on Saturdays from Cape Town and Tuesdays from Johannesburg.

This gives travellers greater flexibility in length of stay in St Helena, and in route of travel. The flights are on offer during St Helena’s summer months, when the weather is hot and sunny, the endemic Wirebirds are nesting, marine activities like diving or swimming with whale sharks are at their finest, and the island comes alive with vibrant parades and festivals.

St Helena has a deep connection to Cape Town, as before the October 2017 opening of St Helena Airport, the RMS St Helena operated between Cape Town, St Helena and her sister islands.

Flight tickets are available online via the Airlink website www.flyairlink.com and through all IATA travel agents.
