Diana's Peak
Diana's Peak is the highest point on St Helena at 823m above sea level and is of volcanic origin. A visit to Diana's Peak is highly recommended...experience breath taking, 360° views, and discover the island's exotic flora & fauna.
It was proclaimed a national park in March 1996, and is covered in tree fern thicket. Most of the island's endemic species seek refuge in the dense thickets, which are now protected. The endemic trees are of exceptional interest to scientists trying to study the evolution of species.
