St Helena is surrounded by clear tropical waters with excellent visibility, you will find abundant tropical flora and fauna under our waters.
Because St Helena is virtually unknown as a dive destination, the thrill of diving here makes it an even more memorable experience. To add to the adventure there are caves and shipwrecks, old and new to explore. All who dive here speak of their fascinating underwater experience.

Summer water temperature is around 28ºC, visibility 15-20 meters and at winter the temperature drops to about 18º C.
St Helena has no recompression chamber so safe diving rules must be strictly adhered to.
Diving equipment is available for rent on the island. All dives must be accompanied by experienced local divers and PADI qualified diving instruction is also available for visitors. Contact the Tourist Office for further details.
