Pubs & Clubs
There a number of pubs and clubs around the island, and there are five to choose from in Jamestown:
Check out Donny's at the Seafront for a drink on the deck, Bayside at the Seafront for a club-styled atmosphere or a chilled quiet bar, or a cosy drink at the Consulate Bar. Perhaps a more traditional atmosphere at the The Standard Pub and The White Horse in Market Street.
Venture out of town and try the Oasis or The Rock Club, both in Half Tree Hollow, or Pub Paradise at Longwood. There's Colin's Bar at Sandy Bay with great views out the back! Silver Hill Bar at Levelwood, alsowith stunning views of the island.
Opening times for pubs and clubs vary. Most pubs open Mondays to Saturdays: from 11:00am - 11:00pm or after. Some pubs/clubs are also open on a Sunday, (times will vary depending on pub/club), normal hours are from noon until 2:00pm or from 5:00pm until 1:30pm. Alcoholic beverages cannot be consumed on the streets of Jamestown.
Check the weekly newspapers for published times and events. The Herald or The Independent
